From 30 September to 11 January 2009 we have at complete disposition a new art exhibition in the Rome’s Quirinale with the theme Giovanni Bellini.
Dedicated to the famous Italian painter of the 15th century, the exhibition shows 70 pieces of work, including the splendid Baptism of Christ.
The long career of Giovanni Bellini was very prosperous, it began with Quattrocento styles but matured into the progressive post-Giorgione Renaissance styles. Bellini, seems as the developer of Italian Renaissance, had a prevalent use of oil painting and disguised symbolism integral to the Northern Renaissance, different from the other Italian painters that used tempera painting,
You can visit the complete show from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. and the price fluctuate from 7,5 € to 10 € depending from you concession.
