For many catholic people a travel in Italy is a occasion to see the Pope and attend to a papal audience and have a special Pope’s blessing.
If he is in Rome Benedict XVI usually have the audiences on the Wednesday and Sunday at 11 a.m in the Saint Peter (Vatican City). In wintertime the audience will be in the hall of Papal Audiences ( Aula Paolo VI). In summertime they are held in Saint Peter’s Square or in the town of Castel Gandolfo where is the Pope’s summer residence.

The tickets can be picked up at the ticket office located just inside the Bronze Door (by the right colonnade of St. Peter’s Square) from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm the day before the audience or in the morning of the audience. The tickets are free.
